Darlene Miller is President of Permac Industries, Burnsville, Minnesota, as well as PMPA’s First Vice President. Permac Industries has been a PMPA member since 1997. Darlene was selected Small Business Person of the Year by the U. S. Chamber of Commerce in 2008, and in 2011 she was appointed to the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. Darlene will give a presentation on the development of the “Right Skills Now” program which offers individuals fast-track training for high-quality skilled manufacturing jobs.
Jan Klevis – Director Postsecondary & Workforce Education, Lehigh Career & Technical Institute will share how they develop individuals enrolled in Advanced Manufacturing and the “Right Skills Now Program.” Following the presentation, there will be a tour of the technical training facilities at LCTI. Jan would also like to invite all attendees to stay for lunch and networking time at the Lehigh Culinary Arts Restaurant. Please indicate if you are staying for lunch on the registration form below.
