OSHA 300A Online Injury Tracking Enforcement Announcement

Attention all PMPA Member Companies:

Regardless of whether or not you are in a Federal Plan or State Plan State, this update affects you!

According to  this April 30th  press release from OSHA, Section 18(c)(7) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and relevant OSHA regulations pertaining to State Plans, require all affected employers to submit injury and illness data in the Injury Tracking Application (ITA) online portal, even if the employer is covered by a State Plan that has not completed adoption of their own state rule. 

Bottom line

Precision Machining shops with 20 or more employees MUST post their OSHA 300A Injury and Illness data for 2017 online using the online Injury Tracking Application by July 1, 2018.
