July Sales Jump to Highest Level in Almost 3 Years
In July 2025, the PMPA Business Trends Sales Index saw a significant rise, jumping 10 points (6.7%) from June to 158. This marks the highest July ever recorded. Average hours are up, and overtime is increasing. Sentiment remains positive with profits jumping back up to a positive level. Overall, the data reflects a robust and optimistic business environment, with shops working more hours to fill increased orders.
