Dear PMPA Members,
I’m excited to share that we have an awesome Annual Meeting planned for you this year! The location is on the beautiful Southern California coast during the most favored month of the year – Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, Dana Point, in October! It promises to be an event to remember, so we hope you all will be able to attend.
Along with sunshine, ocean views, and getting your feet in the sand (if not the water), we have a program schedule packed with informational, motivational and networking opportunities. I believe we are in for an unforgettable encounter with our keynote speaker, Bethany Hamilton, who will share her incredible and heroic “Soul Surfer” story of triumph over tragedy. As a fellow surfer, I am excited to hear about her surfing exploits and personal accomplishments.
Additional educational sessions include insights into the upcoming elections from Omar Nashashibi; learning how to prepare yourself and your company for succession planning; using your CliftonStrengths Finder assessment to effectively and confidently lead your organization; and understanding the impact of geopolitics on your business. There will also be two deep-dive breakout sessions on success planning and leadership strengths.
Social activities and networking events are intertwined over the three-day program, culminating with the Awards Banquet on Sunday evening, where we acknowledge and recognize those PMPA members and peers who have shared their talents with us over the past year.
