SPEAKER: Mark Fatica - President, Great Lakes Automation Services, Inc.

Mark Fatica, President of Great Lakes Automation Services in McKean, PA, joins us to discuss the various opportunities for automated inspection of machined components, material handling and assembly, as well as the added value of secondary operations. He will also show examples and applications of how systems were concepted, then implemented .

Mark has been in the automated assembly and test industry since 1979. He received his degree in sales and marketing from Gannon University in 1983. He spent 22 years employed at Assembly Machines, Inc. (AMi), located in Erie, PA, as a mechanical assembly technician, electrical controls supervisor, product specialist, proposal manager and vice president of sales and marketing.

In 2002 Mr. Fatica and 2 partners started Great Lakes Automation Services Inc./AMi, also located in Erie, PA, where the focus is systems integration of custom automated assembly and test systems, including AMi rotary dials, custom dials, linear systems, robot integration, material handling, automated inspection systems and vision integration.
