Combining high-quality surface finish, highly accurate geometries and large versatility of materials and material combinations, 3D printing technologies enables the best representation of the intended final product.

Computer Aided Technology’s Buffalo Grove office features both FDM and PolyJet 3D Printers from Stratasys. Rodger Reaume, the Stratasys representative for Computer Aided Technology will deliver a presentation on the benefits of 3D printing. He and his associates will be on hand to demo the systems in operation as well.

The presentation will feature:
• Overview of Stratasys offerings and positioning
• FDM and Polyjet process clarification related to concept models, functional prototypes, manufacturing tools and ability to make end-use-parts
• Materials available
• Application identification and clarification
• Post-presentation tour of 3D printing lab to see systems at work building models

Here are some benefits:
• Designers can prototype more iterations without blowing the timeline or budget, ideation will improve
• Better collaboration resulting in improved design and manufacturability.
