SPEAKER:
Andy Ellinghausen: Andy has had a 26 year career in the lubricants field including time with Shell, Houghton and Lube-Tech for the last year and a half. Following a degree in Chemistry from Indiana University, the experience throughout his career has included: formulation, R&D, QC, blending, waste treatment, field technical support and business development throughout North America, Europe and Asia. His current position is as the Technical Manager for our Distribution group with a focus on industrial fluids.

SUMMARY:

Come and get an overview of the different kinds of oils and coolants and their applications. Find out what new products are out there and what may be going away by government mandate. We will be demonstrating testing of cutting oil and coolant so bring a sample if you would like it analyzed. There will also be a tour after dinner, for those who are interested.

- History of metal removal and forming fluids
- Basic chemistry and function of additives
- Environmental and regulatory challenges of fluids and their additives
- Current and potential future innovation of fluids
- Q&A

Who Should Attend:
This meeting will be of particular interest to your foremen/supervisors, quality engineers and shop floor personnel. Plan on bringing these folks to what promises to be an informative meeting and tour.
