Problem solving is the act of defining a problem; determining the cause of the problem; identifying, prioritizing and selecting alternatives for a solution; and implementing a solution.

This session with review the 4 steps of the problem solving process and give examples on how to use basic problem solving tools for root cause analysis.

About the Speaker:
Tom Moore has 25+ years’ experience in management and industry. During his career he has helped a variety of organizations and leaders in creating operational excellence in manufacturing and business processes. He knows business and knows people.

A Lean Sensei and Six Sigma Master Belt, Scrum Master and Certified Shingo Facilitator combined with a strong academic background: BS in Training and Development, MAs in Org. Development and Human Systems, and doctorate in Human Organizational Systems. Tom is a results oriented, evidence-based consultant capable of using a unique combination of theory and praxis to help organizations succeed in improvement efforts and the organizational development needed to sustain those efforts.
