Mike Friday is the head coach of the USA Olympic Men’s Rugby Team, a team he built and molded from scratch and then coached to a sixth place standing in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics (the highest finish for a USA rugby team)!  

Mike will share his personal strategies and tips for building, motivating and nurturing a winning team, and how those same strategies, values and morals can apply to “coaching” your shop floor employees.  We think you will enjoy this interactive and engaging “interview-style” discussion with Mike.

As we prepare for the Strategic Planning Committee meeting coming later this month, we’ve reflected on what a great year PMPA had in 2021 and how we truly appreciate your support during our journey.

We continued to offer stalwart conferences and meetings, started to bring back chapter networking events, added new online educational opportunities, and advocated for and informed you on myriad governmental issues.

A few other highlights from this year include:

  • Created Technical Tuesday Solutions webinars and launched a searchable Knowledge Center on website
  • Continued to represent your interests through dialog with The Franklin Partnership, our DC-based lobbying firm, and through the Coalition for Workplace Safety
  • Released PMPA’s 100th podcast episode, Monday with Miles
  • Supported your need to enhance your bottom line by finding savings opportunities with new Affinity Partners
