The concept behind the Management Update Conference is to "update" the audience on issues of concern to owners and managers of small and mid-size metalworking companies. Program topics and speakers are selected by the Management Update Committee, comprised of company owners and top managers. The Conference begins Friday morning and ends before noon on Sunday. Group meals and receptions are included on the program to further the naturally occurring networking and sharing of information which is a hallmark of PMPA members.

Cancellation and Other Policies:

Conference registration fees will be refunded in full if cancellations are received at PMPA by 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2015. Fees for cancellations after February 13th cannot be refunded, but substitutions will be accepted.

Room rates for the Conference are $199.00 (plus taxes) single/double.

Hotel deadline for guaranteed room reservations is Friday, January 30, 2015. Reservation requests received after the cut-off date will be based on availability at Hotel's prevailing rates.

Travel Information:

The Hyatt Regency San Antonio is situated directly on the River Walk, and overlooks the historic Alamo mission.

The hotel is approximately 9 miles/15 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport. All major car rental companies operate out of the airport, and taxis are available to and from the airport.
  • Taxi - Approximately $24 one-way per car. Seating and Luggage: 6 passengers / amount of luggage depends on size of bags. Pick Up: Lower level of the airport.
  • Go Airport Shuttle - $18 one way, discounted rate of $32 when you purchase round trip.

Hyatt Regency San Antonio provides parking directly across the street from the hotel at the Central Parking System garage. Rates include in-and-out privileges.
